CUSTOMCELLS® is one of the world's leading companies in the development of special lithium-ion battery cells. At our factory in Tübingen, we produce battery cells in small and medium-sized batches for specific applications. CUSTOMCELLS® Tübingen guarantees high-tech solutions of the highest quality based on flexible manufacturing concepts and state-of-the-art production facilities.
Standard cells offer standard performance. That is why CUSTOMCELLS® Tübingen produces individual lithium-ion battery cells that are precisely tailored to special customer applications. CUSTOMCELLS® Tübingen uses state-of-the-art laser technology to manufacture its battery cells. This affords a high degree of freedom when designing the shape of cells and the same degree of freedom when determining the position of the tabs. The batch production method, meanwhile, makes it possible to manufacture and combine a wide range of electrode formats (in terrace form, for example).

In addition to services such as consulting, electrode production and prototype development at the its Itzehoe location, CUSTOMCELLS® at Tübingen focuses on the series production of high-quality lithium-ion battery cells.
